WFM Infection Control Strategy

This strategy is in response to the Coronavirus pandemic and aims to minimise infection and ensure the safety of our clients, staff and contractors of WFM Services. WFM Services are taking measures to ensure that we can continue operating and delivering a high quality and reliable service to those who need it most.

Contractors/Installation staff – On-road Kit

  • Alcohol wipes
  • Anti Bacterial Spray
  • Gloves
  • Masks
  • Betadine Lozenges (for symptoms of sore throat)
  • Disposal bags (for disposal of gloves, wipes etc)
  • Copy of Protocol and supportive documents

On-road Procedure:

  • Upon visiting, installer is to enquire before entering a client’s home:
    • If anyone in the house has flu like symptoms.
    • Has anyone in the house, friend or relative travelled overseas.
    • Is there any information regarding potential infection that we need to know before attending.
  • Wash hands with soap or liquid soap after visiting toilet, before eating, sneezing/coughing – refer “How to Wash Hands” procedure – stored on Office hard drive and displayed above basin next to toilets and in the kitchen.
  • Use alcohol wipes before attending client’s premises and upon leaving.
  • Use alcohol wipes to clean pens/pencils before and after use.
  • Wear mask if sign of cold/infection with self or others.
  • Clean their phone.
  • After pressing pedestrian crossing button.
  • After using door handles.
  • Wipe Regularly used tools, books etc.
  • Where gloves are required, dispose of by removing and turning inside out (at the same time), placing in bag and sealing the bag.
